Choose JOY.

Choose it over and over again. Make it such a habit that you actually breathe joy in and out. Choose JOY. No matter your path, not matter your journey, no matter your struggles. Just in this one breath - Choose JOY. You deserve it, the people around you deserve to feel it coming off you in waves...and those waves become their joy. You can feel bad later...there will be time...just for this moment...Choose JOY.

Blessings have been falling into my lap like rain? Curious about how I know this? I pay attention. Awareness beautiful beings - simple awareness.

I could possibly say that negative things have been falling into my lap like hard, sharp rocks...but that is not true. You see where your attention goes your energy flows.

If this sounds ridiculous to you...then I probably landed on your face book page by mistake smile emoticon

It is a big bright beautiful world out's yours for the taking. Go grab big huge handfuls of joy and stuff it in your pockets in case you need it later. Much love to you. Namaste

Good Day Dear Ones,

I am usually inspired to write these by my muse; which is why the name "Views from a Muse" works so well This morning I have been nudged and nagged to write about blessings. I resisted this topic because I am quite aware of how blessings are washing over me in waves. Currently I can barely recognize and acknowledge the blessing before another wave comes crashing in. I am happy and I am grateful, and so excited for what is coming next.

Why do I hesitate to write this? It occurred to me as I kept trying to wave my naggy muse away that I don't want to put my big happy life in anyone's face. I have as much adversity as most people. I suffer the occasional panic attacks and take an occasional left turn and run into a wall of self doubt. I do however, practice what I preach. I do make choices and most mornings that choice is to get out of bed and do something that makes me happy. The obvious answer to that is coffee, but that is not accurate. Coffee gives me the will to live. Morning coffee is required to allow me to sit upright. It is essential not a happy thought, it is life's blood. Not to put too fine a point on it

I can put on the news and sip my coffee. NOT a happy though. I can listen to a pod cast and learn something, that will be more effective closer to lunch time. I can eat breakfast, that only qualifies as a happy thought if someone brings me juice and toast and perhaps a poached egg. No one is going to do that. So I turn on music. Happy, upbeat (but not loud yet, it is early morning in my ears) chair dancing kind of music. My mood, vibration, and attitude raise with each note. I quickly find myself singing out loud and am sheepishly grateful to remember I am alone in my office. My early morning acapella (no one hears the music but me with headphones) will not improve anyone's day.

So make it a point, even if you have to make a plan as you are dozing off to start off your day on a good note. Perhaps a musical note. Remember that hanging out with negative people in horrible moods is a choice. You cannot get away from yourself so put on some music and dance. The day will only get better. Namaste.

Make it a GOOD day!

Good Day! What makes it a good day for you? Do you have a weekday morning routine as well as a weekend or day off routine? I imagine you do some of the same things on both days. Take a moment and consider what makes a day off routine so deliciously sweet to anticipate? Is it hanging out in your jammies or is it just having the day to do whatever you wish with no deadlines or demands?

The whole "live with intention" movement used to bug me. It felt like one more thing on my spiritual "to do" list that I needed to do, or perhaps needed to do better. I would like to suggest a different take on what is perhaps the same idea. How about "live with happier choices." That seems easy enough to do...till you forget to do it and get bogged down in your routine again. What if you did one thing that made you feel good in the first hour that you wake up?

Sometimes my first sip of morning coffee is magically delicious! That is not consistent however; sometimes it is simply a version of morning oxygen. I do wish I could figure out why some mornings I take that first sip and gasp in astonishment at the wonderfulness of it and other mornings I barely notice that I have finished my first cup. So, what is...every single morning - 7 days a week, 365 days a matter what time zone you are in...You did something to make yourself happy within the first hour of waking up? How would that change your day?

May I suggest not turning on the news or reading the newspaper or checking email or doing anything before you turn on some music? This will not work for everyone, but will work for most. Allow the universal fabulousness of music bathe your brain, feed your soul, and perhaps...lighten your step before you wash yourself all over with negative news, heavy obligations, or starting on the day’s first chores. Try it. Try it for 7 days in a row. You may have to write yourself a note, if this is not your normal routine. See if your days do not start out just a little bit better. Enjoy today dear ones; dance as if you are celebrating your life because you deserve it! Namaste Dear Ones.

When to Let Go?

When to Let Go?

Relationships seem to come in so softly compared to when they go out. There is a reason you chose to be in the relationship with your "better half" or your boss or your next door neighbor. At one point it became a decision to move forward and you did. It would be interesting if it happened in reverse.

Imagine if it took a lot of struggle and questions and back and forth and much more pain then joy before the relationship became what it is at the best of it. How many intimate connections would you have under those circumstances? If you are ending or have ended a relationship recently and you are hurting, I am sorry. This might be a good time to make a list of pros and cons. Or keep a check list and tick off every time you are hurting today as a result.

Are you trying to fit a square peg into a round hole? Are you trying to makes something be what it was or what you intended it to be? It takes two to dance. Stop dancing with the pain, No matter the realtionship if it is time to go or time to let it. Pain does not heal all wounds. Time does not start ticking until you let it go, only then can time heal all wounds. Give time a chance. Do something to please yourself today. You are worth it. If you cannot love yourself how can you expect someone else to? Have a good can, minute by minute until it becomes hour by hour. Namaste Dear Ones,

Hello Dear Ones,

What kind of day did you decide to have today? I hope you chose well and that your intention was to have everything flow for you today. Life is so much more...interesting, when you decide to have a good high vibration day. Today I intend to walk through my day anticipating things to bring me joy.

When I pay attention to my vibration, or if it is easier to understand, my mood I choose to feel even better than I did a moment before. I was a news junkie. I could and often would recite every negative and tragic thing going on in every corner of the world. I would have told you I felt vibrant and alive and educated and somewhat self important as I swam in sadness, negativity, and injustice. I was certainly filled with adrenaline. I lived in a near constant fight or flight mode. I was aware of how terrible the weather would be, the injustice of so many living in poverty conditions. I considered myself an educated woman.

Today I am generally unplugged from the news. I spend my days in study of things that raise my vibration and uplift my mood. I choose to be happy and delighted as I go through my day. There are times when I need to scrape mud, or someone's negativity off my boots. I sometimes find myself walking around in a belief that someone else tarred and feathered me with. Then I remember. This is MY life, MY reality,MY choice. So just for today (and maybe tomorrow) I choose to notice the sunshine, listen to music, take a long walk, or a bubble bath, Just for today, I choose to celebrate this day I have been given and so I will dance. Namaste Dear Ones.

Good Morning. It is not quite 6 am and the sun is rising. I cannot help but ponder, one step forward and one step back. Today it is lovely to see the sunrise. Gives hope for the day somehow. Then the realization that in this part of the world in 9 more "wake ups" I will have probably gotten well used to seeing the sunset as I rise. Then it will be gone or changed. Daylight savings time will move the clocks forward one hour. So my 6 am sunrise will be a 7am sunrise.

Which leads to the realization that I get to choose. Every day. Every minute. There are choices in my life. I cannot choose the weather. I can choose where I live. While I cannot move to a tropical climate later today, if I choose to I can begin making preparations to do so. If I had to pick the biggest, most productive thing in my life was/is (this can be a daily struggle) my biggest aha moment was realizing I can choose to change only ME. Sounds trivial - but it is truth.

It sounds so simple. Few things can be harder. I chose to end a business relationship yesterday. It was interesting for it's time and I was not happy to see it go. I can only change myself so instead of continuing on a path that I knew was not right for ME I allowed it to end a natural death. If I RAN the world it would have gone differently. Then with a little bubble of satisfaction I realized I run MY world. So, as easily as making a left hand turn - I did what was best for me.

For me that means that when the thought of the situation comes up I will think of it fondly, connect with the people that are important to me from the situation, and move on. This morning it feels good to move on - without the bitter angst of trying to control another. Yea, I still think he is a bone head. That's my choice. I chose acceptance and to enjoy my day.

What will you choose today? Every time you wake up - even from a nap - is an opportunity to CHOOSE for YOU. Namaste Dear Ones

TRANSITIONS...That was the word/concept I woke up with this morning. The first outside information I received was the weatherman telling me that Saturday morning will likely be record breaking cold again. That made me think/wonder/hope that 30 days after that...March 28 we might be in transition. Out of the cold and into the mud as all this snow will melt and create floods and mud...eventually.

I think it is in March that my Grandmother used to say "in like a lion and out like a lamb." If that is true...then there is hope on the horizon for us New Englanders. There is always hope - true? We often/always find ourselves focused on change. Too cold, too hot, too muddy, too dry. A friend was telling a story the other day and shared about "the first day you can drive with your window down." I watched everyone face transition into various states of remembering happily.

Those marvelous first day of the year that you can drive with your window down is blissful. I am looking forward to two days in a row when I can take a deep breath outside without it hurting. A day with my car window down seems...too far off to ponder.

Transitions happen...many many times between birth and death. Focusing only on car windows - today we find ice and snow, soon it will be rain and mud, then pollen, then leaves, with the occasional bird poop. Would you be happier if you focused on what you can control or change (in my case it would be remembering my gloves) instead of the things you cannot? Be kind to yourself today..who deserves it more? Namaste dear ones.

9 Remedies for Ascension Symptoms

1. Release and Let Go

Walking an ascension path is not an easy journey… It can get really hard when you are being physically, emotionally, and spiritually being transformed at a rapid pace, while your mind is attempting to hold on to the past. Sometimes the best way through an ascension symptom is to surrender the outcome to the Divine.

Be willing to release and let go of everything from the past (including thoughts and beliefs) which are no longer serving and positively influencing your life.

Another powerful way of letting go is to change your perspective and attitude as to what is happening in your life. Look for the silver lining in situations, and focus on the things which are flowing, evolving and improving in your life rather than dwelling on what is hard, challenging and painful.

Letting go and shifting your perspective not only helps to get you through ascension symptoms and challenges, but will serve to invite a positive flow of blessings into your life so you can more fully enjoy your ascension path and spiritual awakening journey.

9 Remedies For Spiritual Awakening Symptoms

Ascension is the process of increasing in frequency. It happens as you bring more of your Divine light and presence into physical form. As a part of the ascension process your aura expands, your chakras open and evolve, and dormant DNA becomes activated. Progress on your ascension path allows you to experience the higher vibrational realms of multi-dimensional consciousness.

Increased spiritual perception, awakened psychic and spiritual abilities, awakened compassion for humanity, the Earth and all beings, and a greater alignment with Divine synchronicity are all symptoms of ascension and spiritual awakening.

There are however some ascension symptoms that can cause real discomfort. Challenges, emotional struggles, and mental and physical pain may occur as you walk the ascension path of transforming dense and lower vibrations into a high vibrational crystalline light form.

Ascension is an alchemical process that is experienced on every level of mind, body, and spirit. When you are on an ascension path, any area of your life in which you are still engaged in the old paradigm or dense energy, comes up for review in some way. Things that no longer serve your highest and greatest good will crumble, fall away and dissolve to make way for what will ultimately serve you in the highest possible vibration for your life.

Relationships, jobs, hobbies, habits, beliefs, living arrangements, diet, patterns, belief systems, and more may change, fall away, or be transformed into a higher vibrational manifestation which more fully serves your soul growth and ascension path.

Let go or be pushed. This may sound harsh, unfair, and rash, but it really has some truth for those who are ascending.

When you hold onto the old… You’re setting yourself up for challenging changes and transitions.

When you go with the flow, trust in the process of life, allow and surrender your ascension path to unfold and change you in every way according to Divine will, you will experience incredible soul growth and immense blessings on your ascension path and in your life.

The changes you will go through on your ascension path will not always be easy. Spiritual growth and ascension although incredibly positive, may have chaotic, uncomfortable, and challenging symptoms that appear on the path.

But don’t worry! The challenging symptoms are temporary and the positive benefits will far outweigh any hardship you experience on your ascension path. Ultimately, the fully ascended state is one of vibrant health, radiant joy, divine love, blissful serenity, peace, abundance, awareness, and oneness.

But at the time of challenge, and a midst the experience of ascension symptoms… You may feel completely overwhelmed and immensely challenged.

Here are some tips to help you make it through any spiritual awakening and ascension symptoms you may be experiencing while maintaining your sanity.
